Christmas Update

I have returned home after our yearly family Christmas trip to North Carolina! We have been so lucky to have made this trip once again. It was great to see everyone, even though our time was limited. My younger cousins sure are growing up fast!! Julie and Mike were able to make the trip to NC. They are both staying very active in their churches until closer to time for Lena to be born. I really enjoyed feeling Lena kick like crazy!! Julie doesn't always enjoy the kicking though...

As you all know, this is Matt and I's first Christmas after being married. It was hard not to be together, but we made the best of it. We got online on Christmas morning and opened our gifts together over Webcams! It was a little slow going at times, but we managed. It was wonderful to get to see Matt's reaction as he opened his gifts.

Back From California

I'm back home after a great trip to California. I went with Matt's parents to visit some family. There were a few times that I felt a little weird being with Matt's family without him...but everyone greeted me with arms wide open and made me feel right at home. I'm definately looking forward to going back for another visit....but with Matt next time. We all really did miss him.

Matt has been involved in a wider variety of activities this week. Although he did continue to do the regular stuff, at least he got the chance to change things up a bit. He has been getting several Christmas letters and is enjoying those. Matt continues to be able to call 2-3 times a week! We also continue to talk online almost everyday!

3 Months Down, 9 To Go

Actually....I prefer to count to midtour....cause it sound soooo much better. Just 3 months to midtour!!! :) Anyway, I talked to Matt this morning! Nothing really new going on for him. Matt had begun showing the early signs of a cold but is feeling much better now. So it seems that he fought it off before the cold got the best of him. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
