I got a job!

So as of today I officially have a job in Boston in an ER!! I won't start until June (Matt will start school the same day I start work) so that we will have time to unpack and get settled. Speaking of jobs.... my last day of work here in Savannah was on Sunday. So I will be spending the next 2 weeks packing boxes (with some help from Matt) and Matt will be working on all the out processing for the Army. We are having the Army move us and will be taking about 2 weeks to drive to Boston and make stops on the way to spend time with family and friends. By the way, we are selling Matt's car if anyone is interested......

We found our new home!

Matt and I just returned a few days ago from a 5 day trip to Boston. There was 2 days of open house activities at Matt's school (I also went on the first day), and I had an interview for an ER position (don't know if I got the job yet). The best part of our trip was that we found an apartment and are currently scheduled to move in mid May!!! The exact move in date is currently pending until we have arranged movers through the Army (we decided not to move ourselves this time).The location of the apartment will be great for both Matt and I. It would be about a 20 minute walk for Matt to school or he can walk 2 blocks to ride the subway. Pending a job.... I will also be able to walk to work. We did make the decision to live in the city and pay a higher rent instead of having a long commute if we lived further out where rent is less. Thus we will be living in a 728 square foot apartment and the majority of of stuff will be going into storage. We will send out an email later with our address!
