The Waiting Begins....

About a week ago Matt and I went to Boston for a few days. Matt had his interview at MIT and I went and checked out one of the Hospitals in the area. Matt said his interview went really well, and he had the chance to talk to some current students in the program he is applying for. I also got a chance to talk to a current student's fiancee and get her perspective on things and what to expect. We are hopeful that Matt will be accepted, but now we must wait..... letters are to be mailed on March 10th. Keep your fingers crossed!!

Lena is 2 Years Old!!!

Can you believe it?! My precious little niece is growing up so fast!! I just got back from a visit to Birmingham for Lena's Birthday. She had a GREAT party with friends and family. Her party was a Curious George theme with George balloons, plates, and cake made by Auntie Amy. My sister, her husband, Lena's Grandpa Jim, and I added to the theme by wearing Curious George shirts too! Lena absolutely loved all the George decorations and she got excited when we showed her our shirts. I don't have any pictures to share currently. My mom had the job of taking photos while I ran the video camera, so I don't have the pictures with me. I will try to get a few posted once I get them from mom.
